DISABLED ASSOCIATIONDISABLED ASSOCIATION Plans to set up a cement store in Jambiani to provide work and income for the disabled did not prove viable, and have been shelved. A new project involving the purchase of fresh fish out of season, freezing it and selling on commercially in high season is under consideration. ZAP would provide a freezer and generator for emergency power. Updates on this new initiative by Mr Topu, Chairman of the Disabled Association will be released in due course. |
