WANTED!! Volunteer BUSINESS MANAGER

for the new JAMBIANI FUNDI CO-OPERATIVE WORKSHOP a ground breaking ZAP initiative.

We are looking for someone with business qualifications and experience who would be prepared to spend up to 6 months in Zanzibar, living in Jambiani, to oversee the setting up and initial management of this innovative scheme.

He or she would be expected to recruit and train local African managers to take over at the end of this period.

This post would suit someone who has been in a managerial role and taken voluntary retirement, or is on a sabbatical.  Some prior experience in Africa would be an advantage, and a rudimentary acquaintance with Swahili a bonus.  A companion or partner who is also interested in voluntary work of some kind would be most welcome.
