ZAP has made a few short films about its projects in Jambiani, Zanzibar. Please find time to watch them - they give a unique insight into the lives of the villagers of Jambiani.

We Come From Jambiani

A short film about the Zanzibar Action Projects efforts in the small town of Jambiani. Filmed and Produced by (C) Dodge College of Film & Media Arts, Chapman University. Executive Producer - Jeff Swimmer.

Jambiani, a small African village located on the island of Zanzibar, is one of the most picturesque places on Earth. However, it is also one of the poorest towns in the entire world. A small NGO, the Zanzibar Action Project (ZAP), seeks to aid the town in promoting a safer and more efficient way of life. With limited job opportunities and a small level of infrastructure, the people of Jambiani struggle to live a life without hardship. A newly built medical clinic, water pump and school sponsorships are all ways that ZAP has contributed to the future well-being of Jambiani and its native people.
